Soundbeam App Reviews

ONE OF A KIND

Absolutely LOVE Soundbeam and especially appreciate the ability to record and save audio + video. My two requests are: enable longer recordings (IAP for this function would be welcome and purchased immediately) and (far less important) the ability to adjust background color from the default aqua-green. Regardless Soundbeam is awesome as-is.

Cool simple Free Software

This tiny app is a very handy and easy-to-use spectrum analyzer. Great for quickly visualizing any sounds in your vicinity. Like showing your students some frequencies or setting up your school bands PA or just for playing around a bit in front of gazing colleagues. Thanks to the Software engineers!

Awesome

Works, looks awesome. Make it for iPad and it gets even more awesome!!

Just what I was looking for!

Simple, great design, nice tutorial. Thanks!

I like it!

Covers the bases, looks good doing it. Keep up the good work.

Really good!

This app is very entertaining And I like that you can change from spectrum mode to an other mode and switch on and off other options!

Good, but iOS 5 only

Getting a bit tired of apps that have been updated *after* iOS 6 came out and *after* iPhone 5 that still dont support the new screen size.

Super cool

I had a lot of fun with this app

Ok..

Should be able to make background black so the screen only shows the wave.

This app is awesome

Keep up the good work :)

Perfect RTL

It is the most perfect RTL with the perfect functions! Screenshot Frequency zoom in Easy reset Everything is perfect Now i dont nees anything else for RTL I have met my perfect tool

Pretty cool

Works great. Love it.

Very nicely done

Soundbeam is a very nicely done skeumorphic implementation of an oscilloscope for audio. Super easy to use and very useful for seeing which frequencies are dominant in electronic fan noise for example.

Cool App

I like the vintage look even though Apple appears to be heading to a flat design. The scope seems to be a quarter of a second or so behind the actual frequency being monitored. For example, when playing music, the frequency waveform for the bass beat seems to spike shortly after you hear the beat. Might be my 4ss processor is too slow. It also displays a moving waveform even when the music is paused. Not sure why. Very cool app though. Well done.

Well designed and interesting app

Bravo

Neat

Elegant retro display and easy with changing configurations. Now I know iPhone can register the sound over 20kHz
